USB Audio Capture Adaptor.02/10/2013 09:35:00
Item was very easy to use, and I have started transferring all of my records and tapes. and for the price stated it was a very good buy.
Worked perfectly first time09/07/2013 12:00:00
Worked perfectly first time
Excellent service. Product gives excellent reproduction.19/01/2013 10:12:00
Well worth the money
Absolutely perfect. 100% easy to use, and exactly what it says.30/12/2012 22:25:00
I was thoroughly impressed with this item, especially at how easy it was to connect, record, and go. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to transfer cassette tapes and vinyls onto iTunes. Your done in the time it takes to play the song!
Brilliant product08/11/2012 20:25:00
I had to get this while it was on offer, such a good price. Although the instructions are in small print it looks easy to set up, hopefully in the next couple of days, I will be able to transfer my records to my iTunes with such ease.
very good service ,great piece of kit.26/05/2012 21:01:00
would and have recomended it to friends
equipment good but could have made it easier for me if a quick user-guide included
Very fsat delivery and excellent service.
Yes I have put it to work already great results. Thanks.
Have only tried this out on cassettes so far and it worked just fine.
Easy to use am now having fun transfering my LP's to iTunes
Prompt & efficient service, product fine does exactly what it says on the can
Excellent piece of kit and real value for money.Selected tracks from 21 Lp's already transferred and tape collection next. Would have been 5 stars but consider online help menu needs improving to get maximum from software.
Exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price
Everything 1st class about this company.
not tried yet
Looks good, well packed, arrived on time. I bought this for someone else who hasn't yet tried it but seems confident. The instruction leaflet was in very tiny print, you will need to scan and up-size this as the text is unreadable.
Simple to install,Easy to use, excelent results. I had no trouble installing and using it and I am 80 years old
Can only rate on value for money as product was bought as a present and hasn't been used yet.
Would have been 5 stars if there was a simple way to individually split tracks. Everything else re the product excellent.
good value and easy to use
Not fully tested but on short install use very simple to install and easy to use.recommended.
Excellent service, easy to order and quick delivery. After receiving assistance to understand the software I have been able to transfer my tapes and vinyl to CD and Mp3 and the result has been excellent.
Really useful gadget. Being able to use existing quality record deck instead of spending loads on a player. The supplied software is good but having a few problems getting it to save recordings as Mp3 with windows 7.
Easy to use and gives excellent quality reproduction from cassette tapes. Coming to grips with the Audacity software that came with it to remove background white noise and to split recording into separate tracks!
Excellent piece of kit, Audacity a bit strange, but getting on OK!
A useful tool
Easy to use. Does the job.
Much as expected
Accurate description of goods, very prompt delivery. Thanks
product fine - instructions could do better
Size of print on the instruction sheet made this difficult to set up. I needed a magnifying glass!
Worked first time - no problems.
Still trying to master getting tracks transfered into microsoft media player but I assume I will get in time.
Item arrived soon after the email notification. Very pleased.
It looks fine, not used yet??
A brilliant little gadget! The software took a little time to master, but the results are well worth the effort! Bring on the Vinyl!
I wish I could give this product more than the max 5 stars - my project was to convert my vinyl record collection to MP3. The instructions which came with the product were clear although I had also worked through the tutorials on the Audacity software website beforehand. I had Audio Capture working within minutes of receiving it. Now one week later I have worked through more than half of my considerable collection. I am going to buy this product for birthday gifts for my friends - every "silver surfer" who has a vinyl collection should have one of these. B R I L L I A N T product, thank you.
this little gadget has proved invaluable to me thank you
Very satify. easy to used.
Initially a bit tricky to set-up as I had lots of distortion. This was solved by connecting directly to the record player output instead of the line out of the amplifier, but once set-up and having removed the background noise using the software, successfully transferred all the tracks of a record to high quality MP3 files (once the extra DLL was downloaded to enable this). I have not try using the 3.5mm input as I did not have a 6.3mm to 3.5mm adaptor available, although I will try this at some point.
It appeared to be fine
I does what it says on the tin. The Audacity people could provide a bit more guidance and the software is a bit unstable if you are not careful and press the wrong commands - but that is not your problem.
Quite complex software for a novice.
Have only just been able to start using the device as I discovered I needed a repair to my tape recorder. All going well so far.
The adaptor did the job easily and quickly. A more detailed manual would be a great advantage about settings like volume levels, otherwise - dead easy
Super gadget, wish I had found it before. Greta value for money.
It worked well when we had worked it out
Seems to work very well. Very disappointed to find that it came with a 3.5mm jack to plug into my tape player/system. Quite why this is the case given the rarity of that type of headphone socket I do not know... A trip to Maplin later and another £2.50 spent and it's ready to use...
The Cassette Recorder reached me in perfect condition & within the time that it was due to be delivered. I would recommend this Company to anyone!
Excellent, well packed arrived very quickly, very pleased.
the instruction leaflet was out of date re web sites, however the customer services was excellent and resolved the problem.
Very good piece of equipment and so reasonable in price. Very pleased with this and glad we saw it advertised
Product worked well but instuctions a bit sketchy.
It looks good, and comes from a reliable source, but I haven't used it yet.
Simple to setup and worked well for transferring LP's, cassettes and reel-to-reel tapes. However the software documentation is a little minimal, so some research on the internet may be required to get the most out of the more advanced features.
excellent product wish I had bought one earlier
Does what it says it does! Relatively easy to use with some practice.
Does what I wanted and as advertised
very good value for money as purchsed the product for half the reccomended price
Performance and value for money are 5 stars. The star was lost because more notes on the use of the editing function would be useful.
Does the job for a good price
Product working as described. The only reservation is in the quality of the manual found in the "Help" menu. The "Quick Start" booklet is fine, and gets you up and running quickly. However, once you need more information on how to get the best out of the features, there are gaps in the manual, (as well as some links that don't appear to work). Also the headings, based on the drop down menus available, are not necessarily self explanatory. For example, I tried in vain to find a satisfactory explanation of how, once you have copied your "project", say a vinyl album, you can then break it into tracks without selecting sections at a time, and saving them individually. A time consuming process. Yes you could save the whole thing, but you need to be able to pick out particular tracks, if required. So the sub standard manual loses the product a star, I'm afraid.
Does exactly as said & what I wanted
really easy to use and far cheaper than the alternatives
Worked perfectly. Instructions clear.
As an 84 yr old I consider the instalation and setup worked quite well At my age I could do with a little more info so I tried to access http:audacity.sourceforge.net/help/documentation but it would not open any help would be appreciated james l
Not yet tested.the instructions for use are comprehensive however, so hope for success in use.
There are are no instructions as how you transfer the audio capture recording to CD using the WAV programme .I neither have or intend to buy an MP3 player. There is no information as to how I can get this information.
Had quite a bit of trouble with noise on the download. Seems that the input volume is critical. Think that this could be made more clear on the leaflet. Otherwise excellent product and good help from you customer support team - Chris in particular.
Works well, although,so far I have only used it to transfer cassette tape to MP3. This worked fine without any other adjustments needed. Later, I have some 78's to transfer, and I hope the effects section can be used to minimise the record noise successfully.
Instructions are simple to understand and easy to follow. I started recording within minutes of installation. I've not tried to do anything advanced yet so cannot comment. But I do recommend this.
Excellent product works very well.
Nice dealing with you thank you

very good product
Hardware worked fine but needs extra setup instructions depending upon the operating system being connected to if you want to "monitor" your recording, that is, hear it played back and see a waveform generated as you make the recording. The lack of both sound and a waveform stumped me for some time until I found some information on the Internet. On Windows XP, go to: ‘Start’, ‘Control Panel’, ‘Sounds and Audio Devices’, ‘Audio tab’, ‘Sound Playback – Volume’, then unmute the line-in, and/or turn the volume up. Mine was unmuted but had no volume.
Does everything the catalogue says it will. Compliments the Ion turntable and capture equipment for my LP's and the Ezcap Video capture equipment bought earlier. Now just have to find the time to use them all.
Excellent piece of kit
Instructions could have been more comprehensive
Although the adaptor works fine I had to download further imformation from your website to enable it to do so.I am still having problems in where I save my music.
Received intact and ahead of time!
Straightforward set-up using CDROM and instructions supplied. Quick try-out worked fine, and reading of online guide suggests endless possibilities. I'm looking forward to exploring these.
Seems to work fine so far - fairly good value for money. It could have been clearer that the software included is a freeware program (Audacity) ...
Excellent it will come in very handy for Tapes and Records, as I have got quite a collection
A good gadget that does what it says - however setting up to work well and save the files appropraitely was not straightforward
the goods were as it said on the box and served my purpose perfectly.Thi is ideal for no nonsence tranefering of music to my computer
This product is fantastic! No need now to download all my favourite oldies; I can just play and record them. The quality is superb.
For a Christmas present so not yet put into use.
Product assumes certain amount of prior knowledge. For example Help page cannot inform me why no matter what I try everything Iexport comes out as 1 single track. This is extremely frustrating and so far is the only real problem I have encountered.
Just what I wanted and nice and easy to use
Straightforward to use. Good results.
Good and prompt service
The gadget itself is far more excellent. Very easy to use and does more of what I do expect it to do. Software wise, well, I'm having trouble in separating the tracks after the recording process from my sources (probabaly I'm still not familiar with its functions) but tried fiddling around and still can't make it. Fortunately, it works with Sony's SonicStage Mastering Studio which comes with my laptop. I'm very pleased of their combined performance to digitize my treasured teenage music collections. Highly recommended gadget and good value-for-money as well. More power and hoping for more innovations to come!
its a great bit of kit.
Have only used it once but seems to do the job perfectly well
Easy to use - worked straight away - good qulaity
Very easy to install and use. But the associated help files were weak. Went to Audacity website and downloaded the latest Beta version which was far better. Could almost have come in a Ronseal can.
VERY GOOD PRODUCT IT DOES WHAT IT PROMISES , LOADS WITH NO PROBLEMS [ MAKE SURE YOU SET IT TO STERIO NOT MONO ] VERY PLEASED.
All I needed to do was transfer my cassette tapes to MP3 mode and I Found the product very easy to use I am now asking around to borrow a Record Player to transfer my vinyl.
The product works well but the whole process is not exactly easy. There is a lot of changing wires and plugs when recording music to the computer hard drive. The instruction manual is clear except for the diagrams on how to connect the cables between the recorder and the computer. As this is one of the vital parts of the process I would have thought it merited more than very small and poorly printed diagrams. There were a lot of cables in the box I presume one set are just extensions - although nothing is said about them in the instructions - and there is an additional plug supplied and I don't know what it is for although it talks about male to male connections - which I don't understand. So, overall a better explanation of the plug-in set up would be useful as we are not all audiophiles. [T2 Direct Response] - We have now uploaded a set-up and troubleshooting guide (FAQs), which should hopefully help with any issues that may arise.
the instructions and diagrams are a bit vague. in the instructions it show an illustration of and deck with slider controls called volume control which i cannot obtain also there is no way to control hiss etc from LP records when transferring them onto your computer
the product was very easy to install and great value for money
Very good gadget. Could of done with instructions on how to use Audacity but once sorted out with common sense it was really easy. [T2 Direct Response] More information on Audacity software is now available within the FAQs section.
No problems as yet. Good to hear all the old vinyls from when we were kids.
Great product, delivered quickly and does exactly what it says on the box. Could maybe do with more comprehensive instructions on editing out distortion from well-played analogue songs, but generally extremely happy with it.
Though this is a present for someone else.
the software was very easy to install and use. The order was processed and delivered very quick
Great product, and very reasonably priced.
Really great product that is digitising both my tape and Vinyl collections. It's lovely to have my music in this new format.....
Worked out of the box and successfully copied cassette contents to CD. Although the capture works well, the fact that burning is done by other products makes the overall solution less than ideal.
Fantastic piece of kit! I would reccomend this to anyone who wants to record their vinyl onto their computer.Easy to use and very cheap,10 out of 10!
The product hardware works fine. The software supplied with it does not have as much functionality as I thought it would - many of the function options are "greyed out" in the menu, suggesting that there is more highly functioned version available. In particular, I was expecting the software to be able to automatically detect the "silences" between tracks and allow an LP to be split into separate tracks automatically, but it does not appear to be able to do this. There is a menu option for "detect silence" but it is greyed out and not selectable.
It did as it was asked, though I had to download extra software as I was using a Mac, and little guidance was given in the instructions about this.
Arrived promptly a useful moderately priced device
Worked as expected, easy to use.
I have been looking for a few years for a product that was a sensible price to do this application, i thought at the price it was trying it. I am very pleased with it, and more than pleased that I did not have to spend a fortune on it.
Nothing wrong with the product itself but the instructions are confusing.
Good value for money. Easy to use.
Works very well, downloading is easy and of good quality. A very handy gadget and far cheaper than buying the various record decks etc on offer to transfer vinyl etc.
Extremely easy to use, worth every penny. now to get rid of all surplus audio cassettes!!
hardware is good. software is available free on the internet and is not the most recent but is good.

Nice little gadget allows me to listen and download all my old LPs and cassettes.
This was a present for my husband. He was delighted with it and has found it very easy to use.
Very good delivery by post, very easy to set up and use.
A good product although printed manual could be more comprehensive
Very satisfied with the results so far. Installation instructions were easy to follow and no major problem encountered. However, details about the audacity software would be very useful in order to maximise the use of various features available
Brought as a present
HI i just like to say thankyou i received the usb audio capture adapter in good condition and the i found this unit will save me a lot of time with my recordings
The instructions are spartan and specifically do not cover the use of the adaptor to record to CDs but are more geared to MP3. There is a lack of volume control. Only by using full volume and maximum gain can an effective recording be accomplished.
Would have been 5 stars, but couldn't get it to connect to Vista O/S, so had to connect to another PC with XP!
Does not store on iTunes first try every time. Requires an awful lot of disc space for storage for files, I have had to buy an extra hard drive disc.
very easy to use, high quality recording sound, the free audacity software is everything everybody has ever said about it, easy to set up and so many features.
Excellent piece of equipment
Excellent product. It does everything I wanted and expected it to do. Good value for money.
Easy to use, well worth the money.
I find the instructions very confusing I think it presumes everyone can understand the technical stuff.
Does just what I want it to, capturing music from a good turnable/ tone arm/ cartridge combination, with an end-to-end process for converting to MP3, incorporating in my I-Tunes library, and backing up. Some minor niggles with the software, hence 4 star rating rather than 5. Higher fidelity bit rates should be offered. The process for converting a vinyl album to MP3 could be smoother; the need to assign individual track names and track numbers by entering file properties after exporting to MP3 is tedious. Lack of an on-line manual; possibly there are answers to all the above, but I couldn't find them in Help. I am sure I am not using this software to its full capabilities.
Worked first time ok a Very good piece of equipment
Great product, very easy to use at a good price
