Tried to do the same job for ages with Blue Peter style homemade things but gave up. Bought this and within an hour had over 40 slides on the PC and in a slideshow. Very pleased with the package, the price and the service. Just perhaps a little dissapointed in my photography! some 30 years ago!

I had difficulty getting the scanner to work on my system, but when I eventually did it appeared to be very effective. I have been a bit troubled by the plastic slide holders which are difficult to open(I think these could have been slightly differently designed and made stronger.) A small print out leaflet explaining the enhancements etc to picture quality could have been included in the pack rather than having to print these out...Other than this I am impressed and seems good value for money and easy to operate.
