I used this overnight in my kitchen. Usually my back door is dripping with condensation in the mornings, but the next morning the door was bone dry and I couldn't believe the amount of water in the tank. I have also used it to dry laundry. I hung the clothes on a rail, placed the Neostar in front of it and after a couple of hours the clothes were completely dry. The best thing is most of them did not need ironing.

Have only had this a month but seems to work well. I especially like the laundry drying mode which must make a saving over using a tumble dryer. Quiet when using lower settings, which seem perfectly adequate.

I paid the extra for currier delivery & it arrived within two days. it's amazing just how much moisture is removed from the room. I usually run it on "Low" & "Continuous" for a couple of hours each evening in a large bedroom which is attached to the house and is above the garage. The dehumidifier lowers the relative humidity from around 60% down to say 42% in that time and increases the temperature a couple of degrees centigrade. The room now has a more pleasant feel to it and the windows have much less condensation on them each morning. Only time will tell with regards to the running costs and the reliability but so far I'm extremely pleased with the device.

We live in old converted ham stone building, one end the walls are onlly single skin, so do suffer with damp due to porus stone. The musty smell gone completely since using the dehumidifier for a couple of days on high, and room actually also feels warmer when machine off. Amazing amount of water is collected every time we use the machine. Very pleased with the great improvement, as walls no longer showing dampness. I read lots of reviews before buying this dehumidifier, and I have to say I'm not disappointed with the product at all. I've moved house, no longer have a tumble drier or airing cupboard, and over the winter drying washing in the spare room was causing condensation through the upstairs, and I was horrifed to find mould growing under one window. Since using this product, there is no longer condensation each day (nor mould), and my washing is drying much quicker. Not sure what the electricity bill will look like, but I only put it on for an hour in a morning and 2 in the evening, when I have wet washing, so can't imagine it will be too bad. Highly recommended. :-)

I have been using mine to dry my washing. Just put your washing over an airer and stand the dehumidifyer in front of it, and it blows out warm air. It also warms the room. Probably a lot cheaper to run than a tumble dryer! The amount of water it collects in just a couple of hours is amazing. I also use it in my son's room as it gets a bit damp in there. The delivery service was also good. I ordered it just before Christmas and it arrived on the 28th Dec. We are very pleased with it and think it is a good buy! Would recommend it.

This is so much better than our previous dehumidifier which was noisy, heavy and quite complicated. We "lent it to our son" and then saw this advanced model which we bought. I am writing this on behalf of my mother.I bought this item for her and she is 90 and she loves it. Her bathroom is quite damp all the time so I thought it would be ideal. I already have the same model myself and she had seen it in action when she came to stay with us. So I bought it for her as a surprise. Was brilliant that I was able to get it sent directly to her as she lives in the north and i live in the south.we both use our machines everyday. It's amazing how much water appears in the water chamber. Also excellent when drying washing in the house . Stops all the window and mirror steaming up. I thoroughly recommend this machine. Overall very, very happy with it!

At present I have mine sitting on the landing set on Low fan speed, 40% Humidity and the Ion switch selected. It takes care of three Bedrooms, bathroom, toilet, landing and hall and requires emptying once a day. When my Ebac comes back from repair, it will be placed in the dining room and relegated to a minimal setting and boosted when necessary to keep the Lounge, Dining Room and Kitchen protected from cooking vapours.

I've never had one of these before so can't make comparisons to other units. But we've had it drying out the bathroom overnight on the Low setting, and although you can hear it in the bedrooms, it didn't interfere with our sleep. The container needs emptying daily and could do with being a bit bigger, but it's fairly heavy when full so perhaps any heavier would have made it awkward for an elderly person to empty. It comes with a pipe for continuous draining, but I haven't anywhere suitable to use that. I had it set to its 60% humidity setting and it never went off, so I checked on line to see what the humidity was in my area and apparently it was 87%, so I don't think the 40%, 50% and 60% buttons will get much use where I am! It has timer setting too so I'll probably just use those. The unit seems to be built quite well, but doesn't look like it would take being dropped from any height and the handle makes moving it about easy.

This is a very efficient machine,its performence is all that you claim and advertise.In typical 150sq ft room it quietly lowers the humidity from 80%to50% in less than 1 hour,much faster,lighter and warmer than equivalent 400watt conventional heavy compressor dehumidifiers.Its very light weight is ideal for elderly persons and also keeps the room nice and warm.There is a slight problem with the power cable entry being some 10cm above floor level which has caused elderly persons to trip into the raised cable.Suggest some form of clip to pin the cable lower down at floor level.Otherwise I am very pleased with this machine

Although I have nothing to compare this with, the dehumidifier works wonderfully and fills with water at a staggering rate! I was surprised when I first turned it on to learn that it continuously blows air but realistically it is not a problem as my room warmed up in no time (once the unit had been on for a few minutes to create warm air) and assists in drying my washing like an extra bonus!! It is very portable and I highly recommend anyone with a damp or humidity problem gets one. Thank you for this great product.

This dehumidifier has worked outstandingly well in my damp Cornish house. Rooms that were damp and musty are now dry and warm and have lost that musty smell. The machine is very light, so it's easy to move around. I might find it a tad noisy if I was in the room with it, but I don't think it's possible to get a silent dehumidifier.

I did a lot of research on dehumidifiers before going for this one. Basically there is more control with this one, timer, three levels, plus a filter and ion setting. Desiccant is also quieter.
