Q: How much does this heater cost to run? 1 answer

A: To calculate the Kilowatt-hour consumption (KWh), you have to multiply the wattage of the appliance by the number of hours used, then divide the sum by 1000.
So, if you used the highest setting (1200W) for 1 hour, the calculation would be: (1200 x 1) ÷1000 = 1.2kWh
To find out how much this will cost per hour, you will need to find out how much your energy supplier charges. But on average, the heater on its highest setting will cost you approx. 12p to 15p per hour to run
