Eckman 900W 2-in-1 Angle-Adjustable Chainsaw
Rating: 4.5/5read 26 reviews
- Lops high branches - no ladders required
- Powers through 10” diameter branches easily and safely
- Angle-adjustable head - locks at either 30° or 60°
Lopping out-of-reach branches needn’t be a chore, problem, or safety issue with this mains-powered 900watt 2-in-1 ‘tall’ and ‘short’ branch lopper from Eckman.
Its handle adjusts and locks to extend reach from an already impressive 6ft 1 ½” (1.87m) to a massive 8ft 11 ½” (2.73m) when using both extension poles and the angle adjustable and the angle-adjustable 12” long Oregon blade makes light work of slicing through 10” branches at 33ft per second.
No more balancing on step ladders or hiring in of costly professionals – do the job from the ground in half the time.
Additionally, detach the fibreglass extension poles and it becomes a highly effective short reach chainsaw for easily cutting logs and branches into shorter lengths for burning or taking to the tip.
The extendable chainsaw weighs just under 5kg with both poles fitted.

Arrived very quickly, accurately described, easy assemble and works well02/09/2013 15:44:00
I've already used it to produce some fire sized logs from an Ash tree we'd had professionally felled last year. It worked well, had to adjust the chain once (probably initial stretch) No drama at all. finished much quicker than I'd expected.
Fast delivery,item as described.30/08/2013 15:45:00
Excellent bit of kit ,but a touch awkward at full reach.
very pleased with the product27/08/2013 15:16:00
Fitting the chain would have been even easier if the instructions had made it clear that you need to slacken the chain tension to its loosest to get the chain on. I had to work that out for myself!
Very good26/08/2013 10:18:00

The chainsaw has surpassed my expectations and is good value for money.
Overhead tree management.06/08/2013 20:15:00
I'm pleased with this buy. It cuts well and quickly, overhead and at ground level. I'm reducing a fourty foot leylandii in my garden. I've opened up one side of the tree so that I can get a ladder against the trunk (tied to trunk and secured on slabbing). I've used this overhead saw from this stable ladder to great effect. It's heavyish so I've taken my time and definitely not over reached. Rest it on the branch and let gravity do the work. It takes out boughs up to 8 inches in a jiffy. On the ground, remove the extension poles and it makes short work of the timber for logs and mulching.Using it from a ladder is not in the recommendations, but it's either that or climbing up and into the tree with a hand held chainsaw - I know which I prefer.I've also used it from ground level for other trees and quite simply, its a doddle to use. The shoulder sling is'nt very effective. A firm, well spaced grip to prevent sway, and steady methodical use will soon have your timber reduced and on the ground.I've a heavier, more powerful chainsaw, but I haven't used it since I purchased this. It's already saved me a lot of money so I feel as though it's paid for itself.
Easy to use and very versatile.
Easy to order - arrived promptly - does what is says an ddoes it well16/06/2013 22:00:00
Very happy with the product and service - thankyou
Well made12/06/2013 13:38:00
The weight was clearly shown but until you actually get it set up you don't realise just how heavy it is. The shoulder strap doesn't help much and it isn't clearly shown how it fits on shoulder. Even the girl in the video is not using it!! The lack of chain oil is a nuisance and I have had problems sourcing it locally. A small amount with the item would have enabled immediate use of the product. It was not made clear that you have to fit the chain yourself. I thought it would come all set up and ready to go. This is a fiddly process and quite dangerous given the sharpness of the saw teeth. This product is obviously designed for the professional tree worker .
Easy to use & good value for money!26/05/2013 19:42:00
This was very useful as needed to trim some trees in our garden that were hard to reach.Would have cost us a fortune if we had paid someone to cut the trees down!!Well worth the money!

A really good buy
Excellent value, does the job for amateur gardener.
Easily cuts through branches03/04/2013 20:50:00
Although top heavy i found the extra weight useful when cutting through branches (easily through 8"), the chainsaw had no problems and went through very quickly. It is also the only chainsaw that can be used seperate as a conventional chainsaw so worked out nicely to cut the branches into logs. I initially had a problem with a missing part but this was very quickly dealt with by eckman and smartbuy and got the part out to me within 3 days. So to summarise a very good product thats well built with excellent customer service from eckman and smartbuy.

Q&AsBack to Top
So, if you used the chainsaw for 1 hour, the calculation would be: (900 x 1) ÷1000 = 0.90kWh.
To find out how much this will cost per hour, you will need to find out how much your energy supplier charges. But on average, the chainsaw will cost you approx. 10p per hour to run.
